What a crazy month.

It's been a crazy few days. We had a break-in at our house on Friday night. My roommate got home from work and the front door was wide open, all the lights in our house were on and all the doors were open. The really weird thing is that nothing seems to be missing. A few things were messed up and whoever was in the house went through some stuff. We called the police and they came and took a report. Although they seemed to think that we were making it up or wasting there time. 'Cause you know we have nothing better to do on a Friday night than bother the police.

Saturday I went with my friend Kathy and her two kids Emily and James down to lethbridge. Her family is moving down there so she wanted to look at places. We had lots of fun on the way down singing songs and playing with the kids. We did some shopping and looked at a place and hopefully she gets it. On the way back to Calgary we stopped in Claresholm to visit Marci and Dave and their 3 kids. We had a blast hanging out with Marci and she taught Kathy how to make pies. The kids got along and had tons of fun. Emily and James fell asleep on the way home so Kathy and I were able to visit which was nice. I love having awesome friends. Kathy is awesome she was supposed to go on a date with her hubby on Friday night and I was going to babysit for them, but when she called me I was pretty upset about the break in and her hubby let her come over and visit me. I was so grateful for that, she got me out of the house and helped me to calm down which is just what I needed.

Work is starting to get back to normal finally after moving to our new location and getting away from the jerk who we were sharing space with. There is still a lot to do but it's getting there and it's sooo nice not to have to worry about someone always watching over my shoulder.

I'm enjoying the fall and hoping that it doesn't snow any time soon.
